Since cross-platform play is allowed, there is no need to try some of the laborious and/or extremely questionable tactics some may advise. If you or a friend have an iPhone or Windows Phone (not sure about android), you can download one of the boosting maps on it and then host it as a multiplayer game. Here's how to do it: 1. Install Minecraft on your Xbox One & Phone. I know but a catch all) 2. Install Microsoft OneDrive on your phone.
(set up your OneDrive account if you haven't yet.) 3. On a PC download the Windows 10 or Pocket Edition maps of your choice and upload them to your OneDrive account.
4a. On the iPhone: Access OneDrive on your phone and download the file. It will ask what you wish to open it with, choose MineCraft. It will import the file. 4b. On the Windows phone: Click the Left Arrow box Next to the 'CREATE NEW' button on the worlds tab.
Choose OneDrive. Select the map of choice and it will single it out on a new screen. Click the check mark and it will go back to Minecraft automatically and import the map, which will most likely be at or near the bottom of the list of worlds. 5. Make sure the map is setup as a multiplayer map with 'Friends of Friends' as access level. Since your are listed in your friends 'Friend List', this will allow you to access the level with the same account. Joe's Xbox Account is hosting on iPhone, and Joe's Xbox account on Xbox One is Joining) Then launch the Map on the phone, once you are in, make sure your phone is on the charger and will not go to idle (if screen lock engages it will terminate the level server).
6. Launch Minecraft on your Xbox One. There should be a listing under the FRIENDS tab with your name and the Map Name. 7. Complete what achievements you want. While the multiple worlds in the various walk throughs on the site are good, there is one at Minecraft Pocket Edition Download that is exceptional for certain ones (Zombie Doctor, Wither Kill, etc) A bit wordy and probably overly detailed description, but I hope this helps.
